Hello! My name is Melker and I am the one who runs Petror.se as part of my sole proprietorship. I'm 20 years old and found my first cache 14 years ago, when I was six years old. Since that day, my family and I have been hooked and Geocaching will always be close to my heart. So many walks, vacations and bike rides that have been gilded thanks to this wonderful hobby! ​

 

However, it took until the summer of 2019 before I published my first completely own cache. It was a mystery that was extremely difficult and I don't think the people who managed to log it thought it was particularly funny, which resulted in me archiving it after about a year. I immediately got hooked on hiding my own caches and it didn't take long before there were caches hidden everywhere in my area. Even today I think it's so exciting when my phone rings and one of my caches has been found.

In 2022, I realized that Sweden lacked a store that offered an assortment that was both wide and affordable. After a lot of research and work, this resulted in Petror.se opening, on March 16, 2023. ​

 

I manage the company and the store all by myself and my main goal is to inspire and help more people discover the excitement and joy of Geocaching and especially the joy that is found in hiding their own caches. ​

 

Now Petror.se is also aimed at more than just all Geocachers out there, but Geocaching will always be the area I am most passionate about.
