1. Shipping and delivery

1.1 - Shipping costs

The shipping cost for your order is calculated automatically and is based on weight, volume and delivery address. The shipping cost is always visible before the order is completed. We reserve the right to adjust shipping costs if necessary, but we will never charge you more money after your order is completed. The shipping cost also includes packaging and handling costs.

1.2 Delivery time

A customer survey we conducted in 2024 showed that about 90% of our customers receive their orders within 2-4 working days. Our goal is to deliver within a maximum of 5 working days. However, we reserve the right for any delays due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for any delays with the postal operator, but we are happy to assist you in investigating any delay. In the event of temporary deviations that affect the handling of orders (e.g. holidays), we always provide clear information on the website. In the event of delayed delivery, you always have the right to cancel your order until it has begun to be processed.

1.3 Shipping method and tracking

Delivery is made with PostNord for smaller orders and Schenker for larger and heavier shipments. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Orders weighing over 150 grams usually include a tracking code that allows you to track the delivery. Please note that you may need to collect your order from a post office. Under section 5.1 you can read what applies if you do not collect your order. We also offer the option "Pick-up in Linköping" which is free. If you wish this option, you need to contact us before ordering to book a time for pick up. Pickup takes place in Ryd, Linköping.

1.4 Handling of goods and ordering

We do our best to ensure that the goods are protected upon delivery. All packages are well sealed and shipments of fragile items are carefully packaged with bubble wrap or other protective material to ensure you receive your items in the best possible condition.

1.5 Inventory

​We strive to keep the stock balance up to date at all times. However, errors can occur, for example if two orders are placed at the same time or if we have missed to update the balance. If an ordered item is out of stock, we reserve the right to cancel the order. In the event of such errors, we will of course refund the full amount. If the item is expected to be back in stock within a reasonable time, we will inform you of the delay and you can then choose to either cancel the order or wait for delivery.

 

2. Payment options

To complete your order, first open the shopping cart. If your information is saved, the shipping cost is sometimes visible immediately. In the shopping cart, fill in your shipping details, and then select your shipping method. You will then be able to see the total amount of your order. You'll then be taken to the payment page, where you can choose from the following payment options:

2.1 PayPal

PayPal is one of the world's largest and most secure payment services. When you select PayPal, you will be redirected to their payment page, where you can either log in to your PayPal account or pay as a guest, i.e. with your credit card. You can choose whether or not to store your data with PayPal. Once the payment is complete, you will receive both a confirmation from PayPal and from us. Petror.se will not have access to your bank details, as the payment is entirely handled by PayPal.

2.2 Swish (only for swedes)

Swish is a quick and easy way to pay via mobile. Then select "Manual Payment" at checkout. Since we do not have an automatic system for Swish, you enter the amount and phone number yourself. Should you swish to the wrong number, we unfortunately cannot help you, so follow the instructions at checkout carefully. If you should swish an incorrect amount, we will contact you and ask for a supplement. If we do not receive the correct amount, the order will be cancelled, and the incorrect amount will of course be refunded.

2.3 Invoice

If you want to shop for a company or the public sector, it works perfectly to pay by invoice. Then contact us before for further instructions. Billing is done through PayPal's invoicing service.

Orders paid by invoice are shipped as soon as the invoice is paid.

 

3. Returns

3.1 Return

 As a consumer, you have a legal right of withdrawal from online purchases. If a returned item is in worse condition than when you received it, a deduction can be made on the refund. You as a customer are responsible for the shipping cost when returning. Before you return an item, you must contact us and let us know that you regret the purchase and which items will be returned. This must be done within 14 days of receiving the order. No reason needed. Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to used products, in the event of a sale of goods or in the event of closure of the store.

3.2 Complaint

If a product is broken or faulty, you have the right to complain about it. We will then agree on a suitable solution together, such as a refund or delivery of a new product. Before returning a defective item, you must contact us to have the claim approved. If the product is not deemed to be faulty, we have the right to deny the complaint in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. We always follow guidelines from the National Board for Consumer Disputes. To avoid dissatisfaction among our customers, we always inspect our products carefully before delivery and at the time of writing, no complaint has ever been made.

3.3 Cancellation of unmailed order

If you have placed an order with us and change your mind before you have received the stuff, that's perfectly fine. If you change your mind before we have started processing your order, we will refund 100% of the cost. If you change your mind after we have started processing the order (for example, when it has been packed but not posted), this is also fine, but an administration fee corresponding to the work/packaging performed may apply. When you change your mind, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary costs.

4. Personal Data & Privacy

When you place an order with us, you agree that we store and use your information to be able to deliver the goods, send you order confirmation and contact you both by email and phone if necessary. If you wish to access the data we hold about you, or if it is incorrect, irrelevant or incomplete, you have the right to request correction or deletion. When you contact us with questions, you also consent to us storing the information you provide. Petror.se use cookies. Your data is never shared with third parties and is only handled within the company Melker Nordström.

 

5. Other

5.1 Unclaimed packages

If you do not collect your package from an agent or refuse to accept the package upon delivery, it will be returned to us. Then we reserve the right to charge you for return shipping and an administration cost of up to SEK 150. The remaining amount will be refunded within 14 business days via the payment method you used to purchase.

5.2 Prices and VAT

We reserve the right to any price increases, final sales and currency changes. If a product has a reduced price, it is always clear what the original price was. Company Melker Nordström is not subject to VAT, which means that no VAT fees are added from our side. Please note that if you are buying from abroad, you may be charged for customs duty and VAT. 5.3 Discount codes

If you have received a discount code from us, it is valid either for a specified period of time or until the store closes. We reserve the right to terminate operations at any time, which may result in the loss of validity of discount codes. It is not possible to combine several discount codes when you buy from us.

5.4 Limitation of Liability

We take no responsibility for any damage that may occur from the products we sell. We also take no responsibility for delays or errors that occur beyond the company's control, such as fires, pandemics, strikes or problems with the postal operator.

5.5 Product information

The appearance of the products may differ slightly from the pictures in terms of small details that are not essential for the product's function, such as the size of magnets or the placement of magnets. The names of our products are not always literal. For example, "Magnetic jar" does not mean that the jar itself is magnetic, but only that it has a magnet glued to it.

5.6 Minors

To order from us, you must be at least 18 years of age or have a guardian's permission.

5.7 Changes to terms and conditions

We reserve the right to update or change the information and terms on this page at any time. The terms and conditions in force at the time you place your order apply to your case. We recommend that you read our terms and conditions every time you plan to trade.
