Here you’ll find the terms and information that apply to your order. Of course, we always comply with Swedish legislation, and we recommend that you read the terms carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Shipping and delivery
1.1 - Shipping costs
The shipping cost, which also includes packaging and handling, is calculated automatically based on weight, volume, and delivery address. It is always displayed before you complete your purchase.
1.2 Delivery time
We strive to deliver within 2–5 business days within Sweden. However, in case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to extend the delivery time by up to an additional 3 business days. If the delivery time is expected to be even longer, we will notify you, and you then have the right to cancel your purchase. If you would like a more precise delivery estimate for your specific order, please feel free to contact us.
Temporary deviations from the stated delivery time may occur (e.g. during holidays), but we will always provide clear information on our website and through our other communication channels if this is the case. We are not responsible for any delays caused by the shipping provider, but we are happy to assist you in investigating the matter.
1.3 Shipping method and tracking
We ship orders with PostNord (smaller parcels), Schenker (larger/heavier packages), and UPS (larger international deliveries). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a delivery confirmation by email. Larger orders are usually trackable. Please note that the delivery may need to be collected from a service point.
We also offer free pickup in Linköping (Ryd). Please contact us before placing your order to arrange a time and receive further information.
1.4 Handling of goods and ordering
We always pack your items carefully and use protective materials when needed to ensure they arrive in good condition.
1.5 Inventory
We continuously update our stock levels, but errors may sometimes occur. If we are unable to deliver the item you ordered, we will of course issue a full refund. If the item is expected back in stock within a reasonable time, we will contact you so you can choose whether to wait or cancel your order.

2. Payment options
You will always see the total amount, including shipping costs, before completing your purchase. We offer the following payment options:
2.1 Credit/Debit Card
Pay easily with your credit or debit card by entering your details at checkout to complete your purchase. Petror.se does not have access to the information you provide, and the payment is fully handled by Stripe, a payment service that enables businesses to accept online payments.
2.2 Swish (only for swedes)
Swish is a fast and easy way to pay via your mobile phone. Select 'Manual Payment' at checkout and follow the instructions to enter the correct recipient and amount. If you send a payment to the wrong number, unfortunately we cannot assist you. If the wrong amount is sent, we will contact you for the correct payment. If the correct amount is not received, the order will be cancelled and the payment refunded.
2.3 Google and Apple Pay
If you use any of these services, you can select it at the top of the checkout under 'Express Payment.' You probably won’t even need to enter your delivery details, as they are saved in your Google or Apple account.
2.4 Invoice
If you wish to make a purchase on behalf of a company, association, or public sector organization, paying by invoice works perfectly. Please contact us beforehand for further instructions. Invoicing is handled through PayPal’s invoicing service.
3. Returns
3.1 Return
As a customer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal by law, starting from the day you receive the order. If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must contact us within these 14 days. The item must be returned in the same condition as you received it. You, as the customer, are responsible for the return shipping cost and the ensuring that the item is properly packaged and sent to the correct address. The right of withdrawal does not apply to gift cards, used items, clearance sales, or in the event of the store closing. For approved returns, the item’s price (excluding shipping costs) will be refunded within 14 days via the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
3.2 Complaint
If an item is defective or damaged, you have the right to make a complaint. Please contact us so we can find a solution, such as repair, replacement, or a partial refund. Complaints must be approved by us before the item is returned. If the item is deemed not to be defective, the complaint may be rejected in accordance with applicable law. We always follow the guidelines of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Refunds will be issued within 14 days via the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

3.3 Cancellation of unmailed order
If you cancel your order before we have started processing it, the full amount will be refunded. If processing has already begun (e.g., packing), an administration fee may be charged.
If the order has already been shipped, the rules for returns apply (see section 3.1). Please always contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
4. Personal Data & Privacy
When you contact us or make a purchase, your information is stored so that we can process your order, send confirmations, and contact you if necessary (primarily via email). We never share your information with third parties. You have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of your data in accordance with applicable swedish data protection laws (GDPR). We use cookies to enhance your experience on our website.
5. Other
5.1 Unclaimed packages
If you do not collect your package or refuse to accept it, it will be returned to us. You will then be charged for the return shipping as well as an administration fee of 150 SEK. The remaining amount will be refunded within 14 days via the same payment method used for the purchase.
5.2 Prices and VAT
All prices are subject to change due to final sales, price increases, or currency fluctuations. Any discounts will always show the original price. Company Melker Nordström is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to the prices. If you purchase from abroad, customs duties and VAT may apply, which we unfortunately cannot influence. 5.3 Gift cards/discount codes
Gift cards and discount codes are valid until the store is potentially closed. If the store is planned to close, we will provide advance notice on the website. Discount codes cannot be combined, and the right of withdrawal does not apply to gift cards.
5.4 Limitation of Liability and force majeure
We are not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of our products. We are also not responsible for delays or errors beyond our control, such as fires, strikes, pandemics, or issues with the carrier.
5.5 Customer responsibility
As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address you provide is correct, that you follow our instructions for payment, returns, and complaints, and that you have the right to use the selected payment method. We are not responsible for any issues that arise due to incorrect information or failure to comply with these obligations.
5.6 Minors
To place an order with us, you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity, or have the consent of a parent/guardian to complete the order.
5.7 Product information
Product images may differ slightly from reality regarding small details that do not affect the functionality of the item. Product names are not always literal – for example, 'Magnetic Jar' does not mean that the entire jar is magnetic, but that it has a magnet attached.
5.8 Changes of terms
We reserve the right to update or change the information and terms on this page at any time. These changes take effect immediately. The terms in effect at the time you place your order will apply to your case. We recommend that you review our terms each time you plan to make a purchase.
